Inferno ESU go Scuba Diving

27 March 2014

1Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? Explorers from Inferno ESU found out last week when they took part in a PADI discover Scuba diving experience session at prior park school’s swimming pool. As part of this the explorers learnt the basics you need to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional including learning what wearing scuba equipment feels like and how easy it is to move around underwater while wearing it, finding out what it’s like to breathe underwater and learning whether you can be comfortable there as well as learning some basic skills and safety rules that will enable the explorers to get a head start should they decided to take a full scuba certification course.

Ashley, one of the explorers, said: “I loved the diving; it was so surreal, breathing underwater and I would love the opportunity to try it again”.

Inferno Explorers meet every Wednesday on the East side of Bath. To get involved or find out more, visit our Explorer page or contact us here.
