Weston Scout Group visits Legoland
Those who have seen the new Lego movie will have heard the song “Everything is Awesome”. Well those words perfectly summed up the 66th Group Outing to Legoland. Last weekend 37 Beavers, Cubs and Scouts (along with a team of Leaders and parent volunteers) braved an early start and boarded a coach bound for Legoland.
There the excited adults and young people enjoyed a day of adventure, getting soaking wet on some of the rides, passing their Legoland Driving test, exploring Atlantis in a Lego submarine, and marvelling at the Lego models.
This is one of many activities Scouts in Weston enjoy and with Scouting expanding rapidly at both Bath’s, Weston Scout Groups, they are looking for more adults to join their adventures- could this be you? No previous experience is need with building blocks! But if you think you could help in anyway please get in contact here.
