Campsite Badge Winner Announced
A Scout from the 28th Bathampton Scout Troop, Misha, has won a competition to design a badge for Bath Scout’s own campsite at Cleeve Hill. Over 50 Scouts submitted designs which were later voted on by those who attended the 2015 Bath Scout District AGM.
Each member was allowed to vote on their three favourite designs through which Misha’s design gained the most votes. Twelve year-old Misha said: ”I’m so pleased about winning the competition. It’s amazing that everyone chose my design and that it will be on other Scouts’ camp blankets from all over the country”.
The badges are now available to all campers and collectors for £1.00. The money we raise from selling the badges will go back into the campsite maintenance and development in order to provide more opportunities for Bath Scouts. To find out more about Cleeve Hill, click here.
