Snowy Scouts in London Visit

10 April 2018

The 31st Bath Cubs have just returned from an amazing adventure weekend to London. All the Cubs were extremely excited to visit the big city and see the sights and for some it was their first visit. The Cubs stayed at 7th Bromley’s Scout Hut and enjoyed a joint evening with wide games, a meal and a campfire with smores in the snow!

The Cubs saw some famous London landmarks such as the Shard, HMS Belfast and the Tower of London. They took a walk along the river Thames, crossed Tower Bridge and visited the Natural History Museum. The highlight of the trip, as chosen by the cubs, was visiting the London Olympic Park and going on a tour around the stadium.

The lucky Cubs got to enter the VIP lounge, player dressing rooms and interview rooms as well as have a run on the warm-up track and walk down the tunnel to the pitch and dug out.

All the Cubs had many unique experiences they will remember for a very long time with their hosts the 7th Bromley Scouts. For more information on how you could get involved in their next adventure, contact us here.
