District Youth Commissioner

City of Bath District is looking for its next Youth Commissioner! Taking on this role provides fantastic opportunities to shape the future of Scouting in the District and gain unique and invaluable experience and insight.

Our current Youth Commissioner is due to leave her position at the end of 2020. If successful in applying for the role, you would start in January 2021 for a term of 2-3 years. To be eligible for the role, you must be aged 18-25 by the 31st December 2020 and be willing to join the Scout Association if you aren’t already a member. The role is voluntary

Being a Youth Commissioner has opened up a new world for me! I’ve met so many incredible young people who are going to make a fantastic new generation of Scouts, and its been an honour to be a part of their journey.

You’d join a hard-working district team and the Avon County Youth team to engage with and inspire hundreds of young people, and make in huge difference to their scouting lives. Please see the role description for further details about the position entails.
