District Campsite

Our District Campsite – Cleeve Hill is on the western edge of Bath. It is a short bus ride to the centre, close to local shops and just off the Cotswold Way making an ideal site for camps, expeditions and events.

The campsite is on the edge of the famous World Heritage City of Bath and within the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Cleeve Hill is ideal for District, Troop, Patrol or Pack camps. It is a great site for a traditional camp and a base to explore the surrounding area or. It is also an ideal site if you are following the Cotswold Way or the Monarch Way, as part of Duke of Edinburgh or similar expeditions. You can also follow the 13 mile Bath to Bristol Railway path on foot or bike.

The site is only a few minutes drive from local shops. It is only 10 minutes from the centre of Bath with all its attractions including the Roman Baths, the American Museum, Prior Park, and many others.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
