Youth Shaped
Bath Scouts has always been proud of our ‘young people’ working in partnership with adults.
Youth Shaped Scouting not only improves the way we Scout, but also the young people involved.
Learning to speak up, be heard and work towards improving something is a key life skill. We encourage and support all our members to do this. From the youngest Beaver to our eldest Network member.
We want every young person to shape their own adventure. We want young people to make decisions and influence their own scouting experience.
Young people get opportunities to:
- share their ideas
- learn from and teach each other and adults
- take part in decision making
- assist with planning the programme, including activities and camps
- become more involved in all aspects of Scouting.
