Larkhall Scouts take on Expedition Challenge!

In June Larkhall Scouts took on their Expedition Challenge!
They covered over 18 miles over two days, camping overnight at Cleeve Hill. They took turns to navigate, practicing their skills with maps and compasses.
The physical challenge of lugging a full rucksack was punctuated with mental challenges of calmly negotiating inquisitive cattle and the occasional hungry horse!
On camp our Scouts had fun cooking over fires, playing cricket and performing gymnastics.
No mobile phones, just fresh air, physical activity, and a chance to chat and snack with good friends 🙂
